First Update from forever home!

Patty,
wow have we been busy--- imagine that! Things are going much better than I expected. can't imagine doing this without a crate.
The puppies are very happy. I am so glad I brought both home. Will send pictures of my boys faces when they realize I brought 2 home.

1st couple of nights - they made it through the night - last couple of nights I have gotten up once or twice with them. they return to the crate, comfort each other and go back to sleep.

The Puppies are great.
You were SO right that day in the plainfield room - "Melody (now called Blake) just isn't being herself". I was afraid she was going to be a timid bore. My fears were unfounded.
She is first one out, first one in, uses her size to dominate Izzy (we changed name of Valentine to Isabelle and call her Izzy). We are protecting Izzy and working with Blake re. accessive Alpha dog mentality. (Lisa has been very helpful with this)

Izzy LOVES to dig. in our backyard they have found and like - rasberries & onions (as if puppy breath isn't bad enough). They get lots of attention.
Izzy still loves her belly to be rubbed. She does not jump up - and does not nip the way Blake does. I am so glad I took both - they have so much fun together.
Well - I am at work and must run. I will be in touch - and give pictures. as you can imagine - they are growing.

Thanks for taking such good care of our puppies.

The Goodbye Party

Josie and the pussycat pups threw a wild Goodbye party right before heading out to their new foster and forever homes. As you can see they had loads of fun!

Pussycats here to tell you about our special night last night: Foster Mom gave us new blankets as usual, but then she put really pretty necklaces with our names on them on us. We all say "thank you Aunt Lisa!!" We look so beautiful. Juliet and Mommy Josie got one too!! We only scratched at them for a minute and tried to chew on the tags a couple of times, but this morning we all still had our collars on. Foster Mom said she was really impressed.

Then we all jumped into the pool with mommy Josie and Foster Mom came over with the camera to take pictures of us all romping and wrestling until she figured out that we were mauling Josie for some milk. Poor Josie - she doesn't have a chance and Juliet goes over on the floor and pouts because she doesn't get any.
We are all gussied up now and ready for our adventure on Saturday. Foster Mom promised to post the photos tonight from our special dress up party last night.

Mommy Josie and daughter Melody share a private moment together. Melody sure inherited her mom's good looks.

Handsome Melody

Cute Melody is growing into quite the beautiful little lady.

She's crossing her paws that her forever home is waiting just around the corner...

My Biggest Wish...

...is a family of my own, that will love me, take me home and play with me.

Puppy Sleep

It's amazing how Melody can sleep so deeply and be oblivious to all the commotion around her.

I've reached the 5 week milestone!

Melody was born first and is a little tub.

She is very playful and talkative. She loves to wrestle with her sisters and makes the cutest little growling noises.

She is also eating crunchy food now.
